A treat for fans of wordplay, the name ‘Old Roan’ is derived from Cheesemaker Ben Spence’s grandparents, Harold and Nora. This is the only raw milk Wensleydale to come from Wensleydale, and is handmade in painstakingly small batches by Ben and his wife, Sam. Old Roan is smooth, creamy and begging to be melted on toasted sourdough.
